- I work on gallery wrapped stretched canvas with acrylic paints.
- Portraits take about four to six weeks, but can take more or less time to complete depending on the time of year and demand. Please email and I can give you a more accurate estimate of current completion times.
- Gift Certificates are also available for gift giving.
- Email me 3-5 photos and most importantly a description of your dog’s personality. Don’t worry about the background of your photos. If you like the style of a specific painting on my site, or if you have requests for a specific style, pose, or background color please let me know.
- I compose the painting based on the photos you send. I will show you the image and we will discuss the background color(s) before I start drawing. A 50% deposit is due at this time.
- I hand draw the image on the canvas and paint away. My paintings are all hand drawn and painted by me.
- Upon completion I send a photo of the finished portrait. The remaining 50% is due before shipment.
- Shipping charges are additional. You can expect anywhere from $10 to $30 depending on the size of the canvas. I ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
Paper Collages:
I started with my greyhound logo. Now there are many animals and I am adding new all the time. Greyhounds, Poodles, Weimaraner, Boxers, Chihuahuas, Labs, Schnauzers, Cats, and Great Danes
Some are in more than one canvas or panel: Basset Hounds, Collies or Shelties (in two parts or panels), Doxies (in two or three parts or panels)
They are all paper, ink, and acrylic on 8″x8″ gallery profile frame with 1 3/8” stretchers. The image wraps around on the sides of the canvas. They are embellished with different items such as paper, rhinestones, ink, acrylic paint, beads, and three dimensional glaze.
Paper pieces take about two to three weeks to finish. Payment due in one installment, before shipment.
